Spaceship's rating Trusted Provider

We rate features of services on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the lowest rating and 5 being the highest rating. We also take into account the opinions of other users when rating features. We read user reviews and feedback to get a sense of how other people are using the features and what they think of them.

Generally dependable with mostly positive trust signals. Clear policies, stable performance, and support that usually resolves common issues.

Features
2 /5 Below average

With Spaceship, features may feel limited. Some essentials—like backups, security tools, or speed improvements—might be missing or sold as paid add-ons. Plan details may be unclear, for example limits on CPU/RAM or disk I/O, so performance can be unpredictable if your website gets more visitors.

Reliability
3 /5 Somewhat credible

Spaceship seems legitimate and working, but reliability is “average.” The company may be smaller or its scale is hard to verify, and customer reviews can be mixed or limited in number. It can be okay for basic sites, but for business-critical use we would recommend extra caution and testing.

User Experience
4 /5 Good

Spaceship is generally easy to use. The control panel is familiar and stable, and key features are easy to find. There may be a few confusing parts (some settings hidden, too many upgrade prompts), but normal users can still complete most tasks with basic tutorials and support help.

Support
3.5 /5 Good

Spaceship generally provides reliable support. It offers multiple channels (usually chat + tickets), reasonable response times, and staff who can solve common problems. Complex cases may take longer or be escalated, but overall support is consistent and dependable for most users.

Pricing
3.5 /5 Affordable

Spaceship is generally good value. Intro discounts are attractive, and the renewal price is still acceptable for the features you get. Some extras may cost more (premium backups, advanced security), but pricing is mostly transparent and competitive for the target market.

Promotions
3 /5 Average coupon

Spaceship has average promotions. Deals exist, but they may change often, be limited to specific plans, or require careful reading. Coupons sometimes stack poorly with other offers, and the renewal price may reduce the long-term value. Still, patients users can find decent savings.

Other Factors
2.5 /5 Average

We score Spaceship a 3 when the provider looks normal but not fully proven in “business behavior.” Policies exist but may be hard to read, incomplete, or scattered. There may be mixed signals on refunds, unclear resource limits, or limited incident communication. Nothing is “fatal,” but we can’t call it best-in-class.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the services, domain registration and hosting, these guys provide, as well as the customer support care. Spaceship migrated my entire email system and I’ve never looked back. They provide daily backs and this is cool. All I know is that it’s available always and I never have to worry about it.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES....EVER! I have over a thousand domains with them which i'm now transferring to GODADDY as spaceship.com customer services are just diabolical. Im not even sure the person i spoke to knew what a domain name or shopping cart actually is. I told them the "add to cart" button was not working they wanted a screenshot of their own button !!! when i explained to them for the third time and this time SLOOOOWWWLLLY that if the button was not working when i click on it then how does a screen shot show a button not working?? IT JUST SHOWS A SCREENSHOT OF THE BUTTON !!!!! I was then told to stay on hold for 8 MINUTES while they check !!! it was just painful! wont be long before spaceship.com go the way of most internet companies who have utterly useless customer services. My advice is DO NOT USE AND BUY ELESEWHERE!!

UPDATE: Preferring to catch people excelling, A) No, and no: We've several accounts. THERE IS NO WAY TO LIST ALL DOMAINS AT ONCE. 15 minutes, utterly wasted. Down page, up one arrow, wait 5 seconds, Down Page & up one arrow, wait 5 seconds... sometimes 10 seconds. Vexing that you deny it. NOTE: There are no issues w/ our connections.B) No, I'm afraid filters do not alter alphabetical listing.Spaceship is the only one of our 9 registrars w/ 17k domains - that do not permit sorting by date, let alone other useful criteria. Would I invent the issue just to annoy you? Apologies, bigger fish to fry. We all sincerely appreciate the inordinate courtesy of your response. It's the lack of veracity we must respectfully object to. B) Even when filtering upcoming renewals, can't sort those by date, either. Kindly recognize the confusion caused by inability to group renewals by date. Of course I'm striving to work with you. Asseverating that I did not politely inquire about fixes informs us how you feel about resolutions. Message recv'd loud & clear. It's only a few thousand. Likely less aggravating to just expire them, let another dummy buy them again. Porkbun and Namecheap, among others, have none of these defects. My error was in seeking to have more baskets for our 'more eggs,' strictly my error.More pointedly, Porkbun tosses in a mea culpa when appropos, while you deny 3 ongoing issues... instead of fixing inability to list all domains, or to sort each column. #smhI'm only capable of fixing my errors AFTER I recognize them. Just not worth debating further, ala "What you do speaks so loudly, no need to say a word." So, you win!
