For users, nothing is more important than fast server. This website is personally the best hosting server I've ever used. Fastest server ever.
DO NOT GET A SERVER. I bought the advertised plan of 20 players 1.5GB of RAM. I logged on for less than an hour just me trying to set up the server. I stopped the server after to not waste RAM. Guess what? On the attempt to start it again it said I didn't have enough RAM. Checking their own monitoring page, it said I had only used 141.1MB of RAM. less than 9% of the RAM I had bought, and the server already wasn't working. I sent a very nice message to their support staff showing my worries and they a day later (they advertised 24/7 customer service) they told me to up my pricing plan to get it to work and that it wasn't their fault. After this response I submitted another message this time to get my $5 back. After even longer than the first time they responded with the same email word for word with an added bit about how to cancel subscription and that they wouldn't give my money back. I'd be surprised if they actually read the emails because they did not address the images, I attached showing their godawful monitoring page. I immediately canceled my subscription after that. A few more things I noticed that are shady #1: The review page. I posted this to their own website as well, but I'd be surprised if ANYONE ever sees it. They flood their website with fake reviews, and they automatically make the best ones appear first which would be fine if you could change the filter. But you can only see the good reviews. If you wanted to see a bad review, you'd have to scroll down press the next page button until you can see one. Which would take forever because there are 9055 reviews with 636 pages. You could click for an hour and probably not see less than 4 stars. Shady thing #2 they recommend a 100-player package what they fail to mention is that if you pick anything less than the server will just not work. It's weird to give the option to buy something that they know won't work. They also won't tell you directly that they won't support it. They say like "server might have difficulties" which any reasonable person would take as oh it might lag or crash sometimes. TLDR: It's trash, doesn't work, and they hate you
Bought the server and haven't had any issues. Also quite customisable and a lot of support and FAQ's already on their website
It is fast and stable. In spite of the server is physically far away from here (I'm using Singapore server at S. Korea), it is great enough.
Very happy after my 1st month will be sticking with these guys, we are playing a mod pack and is working great and my friends are able to joinvery easy to install over all,
I really enjoyed hosting on scalacube because it is very simple and accesible.
Perfect Server to play for free with a friend. Chunks
Scalacube gave poor directions and offered no help on transferring data to my server. Once I gave up after many failed attempts I asked for a refund, they wouldn’t give it to me, then I asked for a cancellation. They told me if I wanted to cancel I would have to go to my servers menu and do it myself, which I did. This was in March of 2024 and I remember it very clearly, I was upset as a dream had just ended there. Fast forwarding a few weeks later I shipped out to BMT, and just a few days after that I was charged $46 for the monthly reoccurring payment I had cancelled. I was no phones at this point so I was unaware they were still charging me, and this happened for another 2 months after that. I didn’t realize they were STILL charging me until my debit card information was leaked and compromised causing me to cancel it and my bank sent a notice stating that Scalacube had been denied on my old card. It turns out that ever since I left to serve my country this company has been charging me for a bill I had cancelled. I tried requesting a refund in their support line but it was to no success, I was given the same copy and paste answer that they cannot refund me after 10 days of a reoccurring payment. However this should not have been the case in the first place, as I have cancelled my servers. Upon further explanation I was still denied a refund. 0/10 service.
It‘s a very great hosting website. It doesn‘t lag at all and it‘s very easy to use. I host a Minecraft Server with around 10 people and it has extremely great performance. Best hoster i have used, will use again!
