DDoS-GUARD's rating Top-Tier Provider

We rate features of services on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the lowest rating and 5 being the highest rating. We also take into account the opinions of other users when rating features. We read user reviews and feedback to get a sense of how other people are using the features and what they think of them.

Strong reputation and consistent customer trust. Mature operations, transparent terms, and reliable support—well-suited for business-critical hosting.

Features
4 /5 Good

DDoS-GUARD generally offers a solid set of features for most users. Basics like SSL, email, a control panel (e.g., cPanel), and backups are usually included. Some “advanced” items—like staging, stronger backups, or extra security—may require higher plans or paid upgrades, but overall you get a practical, modern hosting package.

Reliability
4.5 /5 Trustworthy

We consider DDoS-GUARD highly reliable. It is a well-known provider with a long track record, clear company information, and stable operations. It usually has a strong presence in many regions (or is a top local brand) and earns consistent trust from customers across major review platforms. Problems may happen, but communication and fixes are typically fast and professional.

User Experience
3.8 /5 Good

DDoS-GUARD is generally easy to use. The control panel is familiar and stable, and key features are easy to find. There may be a few confusing parts (some settings hidden, too many upgrade prompts), but normal users can still complete most tasks with basic tutorials and support help.

Support
4.2 /5 Excellent

We rate DDoS-GUARD excellent for support. Help is available 24/7 via live chat and tickets (often also phone). Replies are fast, answers are clear, and issues are solved end-to-end (not just copy-paste). We also see strong knowledge base guides and good incident communication, so customers feel genuinely supported.

Pricing
3.5 /5 Affordable

DDoS-GUARD is generally good value. Intro discounts are attractive, and the renewal price is still acceptable for the features you get. Some extras may cost more (premium backups, advanced security), but pricing is mostly transparent and competitive for the target market.

Promotions
2.5 /5 Average coupon

DDoS-GUARD has average promotions. Deals exist, but they may change often, be limited to specific plans, or require careful reading. Coupons sometimes stack poorly with other offers, and the renewal price may reduce the long-term value. Still, patients users can find decent savings.

Other Factors
4 /5 Good

We give DDoS-GUARD a 4 when policies are mostly clear and fair, with only minor limitations. Billing rules, renewals, and refund exclusions are stated, and operational communication is acceptable. There may be some upsell language or strict clauses, but overall terms feel reasonable and consistent.

Like many others, I wrote both to abuse@ ddos-guard.net and from their online form at ddos-guard .net/en/abuse about two pages in a website they host that are both a matter of copyright infringement (because they display videos that I created) and privacy (because I appear in said videos). DDoS-Guard don't reply, don't act...they don't even send you an automated message telling you they're taking care of the matter and giving you a ticket number. It's worse than that: they themselves know that emails received at those contacts are treated like trash by DDoS-Guard, as the agents in the live chat, even after many days, tell you that their best recommendation is to just write to abuse@ ddos-guard.net over and over again, completely disregarding your past reports.

UPDATE - 2 August 2024 So, immediately after my justifiably negative review, the only "update" I got was them blocking my IP and the domain of my emails (it's a personal domain), so as not to be "bothered" anymore with notifications of criminal activity in their websites. What I find even less professional was that they blocked my IP from accessing the infringing site, in a really childish and laughable attempt to make me think that they took down the whole site and that the issue was over.
